Instructions for requesting deletion of a GDP staff app or CRM account. This page is the data deletion URL for Google Play.
Who can request deletion
Accounts on the GDP staff app and CRM belong to employees and authorised subcontractors of GDP Electrical Services LTD. Accounts are created by the company — there is no public self-registration.
You can request deletion by:
- Asking your GDP manager or company administrator to deactivate and delete your account; or
- Emailing contact@gdpelectrical.uk from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line “Account deletion request”.
Include your full name and the email used to sign in. We may need to verify your identity before proceeding.
What is deleted
When a deletion request is approved, we delete or irreversibly anonymise:
- Your login account and authentication credentials
- Your profile details in the CRM and app (name, contact details, role)
- App-specific data tied to your user, such as device push notification tokens and personal settings
What may be retained
Some information may be kept where we have a legal or legitimate business need, for example:
- Job records, certificates and invoices that form part of our business records (retained for 6 years)
- Payroll, tax or employment records required by law (retained for 6 years)
- Records needed to handle disputes or insurance claims for a limited period
Where job history references your name as the attending electrician, we replace identifiers with a generic marker rather than erase the underlying job file.
Processing time
We aim to complete account deletion within 30 days of verifying your request. You will receive a confirmation email when it is done, where contact is still possible.
